Coventry and Birmingham Low Emission Demonstrators
The CABLED project aims to showcase electric cars across Birmingham & Coventry in the West Midlands. It will make Ultra Low Carbon Vehicles available to a wide cross-section of real-world users and collect data on their everyday use. The project will use this data to understand how the vehicles are used in real life and assist in the planning of further expansion of EVs. Key objectives include delivering a showcase demonstration of 100+ ultra-low carbon vehicles, providing necessary infrastructure, collecting vehicle performance data, and publicizing the benefits of low carbon vehicles.
